Dr. Yuk Shuen Wong (Sandra)

Dr. Wong is an English and Chinese speaking registered psychologist in Vancouver, Canada. She is an educator and researcher in the areas of special needs children, family relationships, and immigrants’ issues. Dr. Wong obtained her Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia. She served as a faculty at the University of British Columbia and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In her professional practice, she has extensive experiences working in counselling, education and rehabilitation fields. She provides psychological assessment and treatment for clients referred by insurance companies, law firms, schools and family physicians. She and her affiliated clinical counsellors provide psychological and counselling services in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean for clients having concerns such as children with developmental issues and learning disorders, adults with head injuries, pain problems, depression, anxiety, family dynamics and relationships issues, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorders.

Dr. Wong belongs to the Disaster Psychosocial Network in the BC Provincial Disaster Stress & Trauma Responses Services. Dr Wong is certified to provide Cogmed Memory Training, an evidence-based program to improve working memory and attention.

Mr. Koon Ming Ho

Mr. Koon Ming Ho is a Chinese and English speaking registered clinical counsellor in Vancouver, Canada. His speciality is on marital relationship, anger, stress management, depression, and men’s issues. He has extensive experiences in individual counselling and group facilitation with clients from diverse background. He conducts regular seminars in stress management and respectful relationships.

For the past several years, Mr. Ho has extended his expertise into anger management, and counselling perpetrators of family violence with referrals from the court, hospital, and the Ministry of Children and Family. He is a trained facilitator of Relationship Violence Prevention and Respectful Relationships Program conducted by the BC Attorney General.

Mr. Ho also loves driving was a driving instructor. He is experienced in upgrading clients' driving skills, and treating driving anxiety after motor vehicle accidents.

Mr. Ho is trained as an "Observed & Experiential Integration" level one practioner working with trauma; and is a trained group facilitator of Relationship Violence Prevention and Respectful Relationship programs conducted by the BC Attorney General.
